Project Expo
The Department of EEE conducted a Project Expo on 25th January 2025. The industry expert, Mr. Kishan Kona AN, SBU Head – Digital Engineering & Tools at Mangal Industries Limited, Amara Raja Group, and Dr. D. Chandra Sekhar, Vice Principal of VEMU IT, assessed the expo. The outcome of the Project Expo was to provide students with real-world experience, enhance their skills, boost condence, showcase innovative projects, and foster industry connections.

The Department of EEE at VEMU Institute of Technology is organizing Pragna 2K25, a National Level Technical Symposium, on March 13, 2025.
The event will begin with an inaugural session graced by Sri Ramesh Chandra Singh, Plant Head & President (Operations), Meiden T&D (India) Ltd., along with Dr. K. Chandra Sekhar Naidu, Chairman, and Dr. Naveen Kilari, Principal.
The symposium features exciting events including Paper Presentations, Poster Presentations, Technical Quiz, and Code Quiz, with enthusiastic participation expected from II, III & IV B.Tech students of VEMU IT and other institutions.

- Guest Lecture on “Grid Modernization” was held on 22-01-2025 for III EEE students. Er. S.V. Mahesh Babu, Executive Engineer at APTRANSCO, spoke about advanced technologies for improving grid efficiency and integrating renewable energy.
- Two-Day Workshop on “Mastering Embedded Systems with C” was held on 10-11 Feb 2025 for III EEE students, conducted by Sri T.S. Tejas from Echo Brains, Bangalore, focusing on embedded systems programming using C.
- Career Guidance Program on “Career Success Strategies in FinTech” was held on 04-01-2025 for III EEE students, led by Mr. Hanson Naveen Kumar, Head of Talent Acquisition at Jocata.
